acb_arg

Synopsis#include <flint/acb.h>
void acb_arg(arb_t r, const acb_t z, slong prec)source

Sets r to the argument (phase) of z, atan2⁡(b,a)\operatorname{atan2}(b, a) for z=a+biz = a + bi, with values in (−π,π](-\pi, \pi] and the branch cut on (−∞,0](-\infty, 0]: arg⁡(0)=0\arg(0) = 0 and arg⁡(a)=π\arg(a) = \pi for a<0a < 0. A rectangle that crosses the negative real axis gives an enclosure of [−π,π][-\pi, \pi].
