int acb_hypgeom_u_use_asymp(const acb_t z, slong prec)source

Returns nonzero if the asymptotic series is expected to give $U(a,b,z)$ to prec bits, namely if $|z| > \mathit{prec} \log 2$ or $|z| > 2^{64}$ (assuming that $a$ and $b$ are small).
