Set s to sinh⁡x\sinh x and c to cosh⁡x\cosh x. Near 0, sinh⁡x\sinh x is computed as (e2x−1)/(2ex)(e^{2x} - 1)/(2e^x) via arb_expm1 to avoid cancellation; otherwise (ex±e−x)/2(e^x \pm e^{-x})/2 is used.
