FPWRAP_WORK_LIMIT

Synopsis#include <flint/arb_fpwrap.h>
FPWRAP_WORK_LIMITsource

The unit (value 65536) for the maximal working precision: with n⋅n \cdotFPWRAP_WORK_LIMIT added to flags, the wrappers try the precisions 64,128,…,64⋅2n64, 128, \ldots, 64 \cdot 2^{n} bits (at most 64⋅22464 \cdot 2^{24}). The default n=0n = 0 tries 64,128,…,819264, 128, \ldots, 8192 bits.

The implementation stops after the precision 64⋅2n64 \cdot 2^n, that is, after n+1n + 1 precision levels for n≥1n \ge 1, while the default uses 8 levels, the same as n=7n = 7. With 2 * FPWRAP_WORK_LIMIT the wrappers thus try 64, 128 and 256 bits (the documentation of FLINT 3.6 and earlier stated nn levels).
