`mpoly_divide_threads`

slong mpoly_divide_threads(slong n, double la, double lb)source

Returns $m$ with $0 \le m < n$ such that $(m + 1)/(n - m)$ is close to $\mathit{la}/\mathit{lb}$ : the number of threads (besides the calling one) to give to the first of two independent tasks of sizes la and lb when $n$ threads are available.
