void mpoly_monomials_deflation(fmpz * shift, fmpz * stride, const ulong * Aexps, flint_bitcnt_t Abits, slong Alength, const mpoly_ctx_t mctx)source

For each variable vv, with SvS_v the set of exponents of vv in the monomials, sets shift[v] to min⁡Sv\min S_v and stride[v] to gcd⁡{e−min⁡Sv:e∈Sv}\gcd\{e - \min S_v : e \in S_v\}, which is zero if SvS_v has one element. Every monomial then has exponent shiftv+k⋅stridev\mathit{shift}_v + k \cdot \mathit{stride}_v in vv. For an empty array all shifts and strides are zero.
