_mp_real_bs_step_uses
Synopsis
#include <flint/mp_real.h>void _mp_real_bs_step_uses(slong * uses, slong * rmax, const slong * xexp, slong len, slong N)sourceFor a binary splitting of terms with fixed midpoints (ranges of one or two terms being leaves) whose split steps are the len entries of xexp, set uses[i] to the number of merges using the step xexp[i] and rmax[i] to the longest right child of those merges.
The ranges of a level differ in length by at most one, so the counts follow from alone by tracking at most two distinct lengths per level, in time.
